Lucy the SEW-er

Lucy's new sweater has a pocket in the front. Something happened to it at school yesterday because it was ripped off on one whole side. She knows how to sew, because it is one of the many activities as her school. So on the day that the pocket ripped, she apparently-unprovoked- found a needle and yarn and sewed the pocket back on with yellow yarn. When she got in the car she told Molly that while she had fixed it, it was really ripped and needed to be fixed more. I just can't believe how confident and self-reliant she is.
