Lucy had a great time at birthday at Edenborough Park this afternoon. Here are some pictures.

Family Resolutions

2009: Eat more veggies and much, much, much less meat and dairy
We started with no more milk and avoiding the rest when at home and much as possible away from home... lots of experiments... more to come.

2008: Buy grass fed meat and organic dairy
We found Pastures-a-Plenty for some great ham and dairy, though we have been buying organic dairy for a while- this makes it official. They are from SW Minnesota and then we bought an 1/8 of a cow to start off the year from Lynn Brakke Farm near Fargo.

2007: Compost all yard and kitchen waste
We got a compost container for the kitchen and build two bins by the garage. We cut out waste down seriously for most of the summer. We still need to figure out winter composting. The bins have so much snow on them, they aren't accessible.

2006: No more bottled water!
We were so addicted to bottled water from our time in Tucson, that we started our family resolutions with an obvious one. We got a water delivery service this year from Premium Waters.
